The period of unsettling is now. Or not. I know you want a story, but if you want to get through it now, realize we are the son of God and nothing else. Be unsettled by the loss of ego. Open question: Are we the same?

TimeIsMe

There are no rules to this. Don’t worry about possible stages that some people go through.

You have nothing to worry about. It only looks difficult now because you are looking at it through the distorted lens of the ego. Regardless of which stage you are at, all lessons are the same because there is only one lesson :- you are still as God created. As you go through the stages in the Development of Trust it can only get easier. That is because the more you trust in God the more He can do for you without your effort. You only need to offer Him your willingness to let it be done. * T-20.IV.8. You may wonder how you can be at peace when, while you are in time, there is so much that must be done before the way to peace is open. Perhaps this seems impossible to you. But ask yourself if it is possible that God would have a plan for your salvation that does not work. **Once you accept His plan as the one function that you would fulfill, there will be nothing else the Holy Spirit will not arrange for you without your effort.** He will go before you making straight your path, and leaving in your way no stones to trip on, and no obstacles to bar your way. Nothing you need will be denied you. **Not one seeming difficulty but will melt away before you reach it. You need take thought for nothing, careless of everything except the only purpose that you would fulfill.** As that was given you, so will its fulfillment be. God’s guarantee will hold against all obstacles, for it rests on certainty and not contingency. It rests on you. And what can be more certain than a Son of God? Let your journey go into the Hands of God. Let His plan for salvation for you be done. Let your life on earth become the happy dream. Salvation is a happy game that we play after all. :) * Lesson 153. **Salvation can be thought of as a game that happy children play.** It was designed by One Who loves His children, and Who would replace their fearful toys with joyous games, which teach them that the game of fear is gone. His game instructs in happiness because there is no loser. Everyone who plays must win, and in his winning is the gain to everyone ensured. The game of fear is gladly laid aside, when children come to see the benefits salvation brings.

I experienced what seemed to be a really really long time here, the 'dark night'. I think it does get easier, mines been over basically for about 3 years and so what is time... past pain is illusion. The characteristics of the process in acim seem linear, this step then this step....my experience was all over, so acim is reference, your experience is the focus. Use your, ask for wisdom The more I let my Father do for me, the more comfortable I was. It is already over. You cannot be alone. Ask and receive, this moment. You can trust His love, Jesus. It's okay to experience this moment, allll of it, let it finish itself, let it be a blessing. YOU KNOW THIS STUFF. LET THE ANGER OUT ON PAPER.....maybe. write your story, one thought st a time, take.a break, let it think, then another sentence. OK, ...you are surely blessed. The angels are with you. We are with you. It is already over. He has not abandoned you. Let it all up, HS is your guide and has your best interest in mind. Watch how what you need shows up. Love.... There is love under hate....under fear...all around.....go ahead....He gets it. 💛🌄🌨️

Thanks for sharing your experience!

Your welcome. I had to change a bunch of habitual thinking, working on it with the HS. The bottom line is that you are okay. Condemnation is not real and not even possible. You could look at lesson 23. I had to quit reading the book bc I was 'sure' I was, had become the opposite. Don't worry about what the book says....your Self is now, and it knows. Your Self, who is united with your loving Father, will show you that you are not a victim. Don't stuff anything....look at it with your Help. Watch with discernment. Christ in you will do it for you. Now. Just do what you do. If you have a thought about fear, it's okay. It is just your dream character, let it act itself out so you can see it on stage with you and Jesus watching. What is it saying, honestly? Tell Jesus about it. This experience is not the final outcome. In you now is peace. You cannot lose anything. Slow down, back up, give your self some time. You have all the time in the world, guaranteed. I want to see a sinless world. 'sin' is a story, there is no sin in you no matter what it presents. It's good that you shared. I, we, share our Self with you. I don't know what anything including this means. I am mistaken about who I am. I must look at what I believed with HS, Jesus, my Father who is helping me. Thank you. Peace. 😤🙄🤔🙁😔

You say you're on L204, these form the last lessons of part one and part two starts with L221. The introduction to part two starts with these lines: >Words will mean little now. We use them but as guides on which we do not now depend. For now we seek direct experience of truth alone. The direct experience is the Holy Instant. The development of trust, or rather an example of trust, is shared with you in the Holy Instant. That you're even asking the question is a good sign. It's showing that you're at a stage ready to be going onto part two! The last review you're doing now are like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle coming together. As it says, any single one of these lessons if completely understood and accepted would be enough, but it understands that the problem may need to be approached from different angles to make the picture reveal itself. You don't need to worry about Trust, it will be taught in experience. As the Course says, miracles are shared but revelations are personal. When you have the revelation of the Holy Instant you'll have something to direct Trust at. The context of the revelation, how you are seen through another's eyes and how to see others through those eyes, becomes the framework of seeing differently. Signalling willingness to see this way is the invitation to the Holy Spirit, therein miracles will establish and foster your Trust. Trust, or the ability to trust, can be shared with you. >I was hoping others could share what their "period of unsettling" was like and how they processed that experience. You don't process that experience beyond learning to let go, and to let the Holy Spirit process it for you. The Holy Spirit Thought System can remove all consequences of the Ego based Thought System. A clear example of this will be when you might go through a period of reoccurring guilt about something from your past, possibly something you thought long gone but with much more intense feeling. At the point when it becomes like its haunting you but you realise you cannot process it but can only and completely willingly wish to pass the parcel to the Holy Spirit, you will feel that special or specific guilt turned off like a switch has been thrown. In reality there is no guilt, and nothing to feel guilty about, and we're even told to never give belief guilt a quarter or an inch. To get us to that point even the specialness that we made, the idea of discrete or separates, can be repurposed. So now we can learn to look at all examples of guilt or clinging to separate forms in the same way. It's not about other people's examples. You will be provided your own. Miracles are shared; revelations are personal. Chapter 1: >Revelation is intensely personal and cannot be meaningfully translated. That is why any attempt to describe it in words is impossible. Revelation induces only experience. Miracles, on the other hand, induce action. They are more useful now because of their interpersonal nature. In this phase of learning, working miracles is important because freedom from fear cannot be thrust upon you. Revelation is literally unspeakable because it is an experience of unspeakable love.... The impersonal nature of the miracle is an essential ingredient, because it enables me to direct its application, and under my guidance miracles lead to the highly personal experience of revelation. A guide does not control but he does direct, leaving it up to you to follow. "Lead us not into temptation" means "Recognize your errors and choose to abandon them by following my guidance. " Part Two, or Lessons 221-365, are following through on Part One which was preparing for an experience or revelation. That experience or revelation you will bring back with you, and by learning to TRUST it (what was shared with you) in others, is how we ACCEPT the revelation as our TRUTH. You'll have just done the review for Lesson 181 in Lesson 201, where we had been taught "Perception Has A Focus." That focus will become your seeing your brothers according to your personal experience, as given you. This is the miracle. And seeing according to how you are taught to see, and not how we've taught ourselves to see, builds Trust. Ch4: >You have very little trust in me as yet, but it will increase as you turn more and more often to me instead of to your ego for guidance. That is, learning to see increasingly from the Holy Instant and not the Special Instant we believe we occupy. L.300: "Only an instant does this world endure." We are asked to see from the Holy Instant experience and not the Ego's special instant that includes form and time where a dream of separates to be judged can be played out. You'll already be familiar with the theme that You are the Light Of The World! You coming back with the Holy Instant revelation and seeing it everywhere in your brothers is the light you bring back. You'll be familiar also with reoccurring 'Giving is Receiving' themes. Share your Light and your Trust issues will be resolved :)

>It kind of felt like the entire foundation of my life (at least my ego's version of life) had been ripped out from under me. Yeah, that's the first stage: >First, they must go through what might be called “a period of undoing.” ²This need not be painful, but it usually is so experienced. ³It seems as if things are being taken away, and it is rarely understood initially that their lack of value is merely being recognized. ⁴How can lack of value be perceived unless the perceiver is in a position where he must see things in a different light? ⁵He is not yet at a point at which he can make the shift entirely internally. ⁶And so the plan will sometimes call for changes in what seem to be external circumstances. ⁷These changes are always helpful. ⁸When the teacher of God has learned that much, he goes on to the second stage. (https://acim.org/acim/en/s/807#3:1-8 | M-4.I-A.3:1-8) You really don't need to worry about "a period of unsettling". I discuss that stage a bit in [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ACIM/comments/rted88/freyrs_latest_learnings/).
