Are you talking about the overall diameter of the wire? One may just have thicker insulation, which is irrelevant as long as it's rated for 24VDC or better, which I'm sure it is.
If you're talking about the wire gauge, again, as long as it's rated to carry the heater current (1.67
ADC in this case), you're good. That doesn't require a very thick wire.
The gauge of the wire yeah… I have it Installed but I don’t think it’s clamping down on the wire right in the slot because it’s literally causing my mother board to burn. I thought it was the PTFE tube burning because it smelt like burning hair but I noticed smoke coming from my motherboard and it’s just started since I replaced the heater cartridge.
