Cedar trees, spring weeds, and a misty morning if you can find the weather. Leaf piles, trees at various heights. Dropped skinny and flat mushrooms, mush logs, wild log benches, stumps. Streams and waterfalls and cliffs with natural, rough, non-straight edges. Rough-edged dirt pathing patterns for trails without too much border ornamentation.

Optional add ons: Deer and bear villagers, wooden structures (like Molly's house). In inhabited areas, small fires, chopped wood, some log furniture, thick sweaters, outdoor hiking-style jackets, hiking boots with red laces and striped cosy socks.

I agree about the waterfalls! You can never have to many, right? I’d customize any rocks or stones that you can craft to be mossy as well. Those could be cool by the waterfalls or rivers. Also, if you pick your flowers or stunt them somehow (I don’t know if this is even possible) they kinda look like ferns or other low growing plants that you would find in a forest, so that could be really cool too.

Thanks for the help!

Temperate rainforests make me think of the Pacific Northwest…lots of cedars lmao. If you really want to go for accuracy I would build a mountain along one side of your island (the Cascades are most of the reason we have a temperate rainforest here :) ). Lots of hyacinths for the natural lupine and plenty of mossy rocks. Also put a good emphasis on your beaches! The coast is the other key ingredient to a temperate rainforest. Stone custom designs can help make a rocky beach, and stunted flower growth on beaches can look like ferns. Last I’d say your best detail would be a coffee shop bc we loooove coffee out here

Plenty of butterfly models I think and maybe some log stakes as fence? I think it's very cute
