The acoustic version gives me chills

tehhiv

I didn't know that was a thing. Holy shit, it's beautiful. Quick edit: Dude my god. Thank you, it's so good, I don't know how I never heard this.

sweaver2021

You’re welcome ☺️

the_scarlett_ning

Wait, what?! Checking this out now!

Max_1305

Razorblade by the strokes

tehhiv

Yeah great song, Julian Casablancas has such a amazing voice.

mimi1251

Good taste! I love the strokes

NotAZoxico

Under Cover of Darkness by The Strokes. Man, it's been years since I heard it first time and it still gives my chills. It flows so harmonicly and builds up so well. Also, so fun to play on guitar!

Federal_Purchase_803

For me it would be Cadillac Maniac and Radioactive Mother (Lover) I absolutely love this songs.

tehhiv

Dude. WTF. I love it. Haven't heard fresh rockabilly sound in a while. That's great, thank you. The choruses remind me of 80's rock, with a little like, hardcore tempo almost thrown in. It's good.

sylvisaurus

High C's - Two steps from hell :)

tehhiv

I'm not a fan of orchestra music, but that was pretty lit.

sylvisaurus

Thank you :)

Narrow-Macaroon-7004

Mellow 🎶

barnsodell

'Hollow' '99' or 'golden dandelions' by Barns courtney. I just couldn't pick one.

tehhiv

Thank you, I have someone new to throw into rotation. I dig it.

barnsodell

If you ever have the chance to see him live don't miss it! He is such an amazing performer!

thanatosynwa

I really can’t choose a favourite of all time because so many songs have moved me over the years. one I will probably always remember is Gabriella Laberge‘s audition on The Voice France where she performed her very own version of The Scientist. Everything in this audition is perfect to me. Honourable mention to James Blunt - Goodbye My Lover (acoustic version).

InsomniacCyclops

Suffragette City by David Bowie. No deep reason, I just never get tired of it like I do with most songs I listen to frequently.

tehhiv

Space Oddity hits me in the feels, hard.

WheezyPanda

2009/Yeah by Mac Miller. It was 2009 up until the commercial release of Faces (my favorite album of all time) and they added Yeah as a bonus track. The emotion on it is just otherworldly.

BergenBuddha

Walking in Memphis - Marc Cohn.

tehhiv

Hard not to feel good listening to that song lol

gelly_hmm

Through the Years by Kenny Rogers

nina250

I love Sunshine of your love by Cream. It's a pure, classic rock'n'roll. It literally teleports you in that piece of time. Lyrics is very suggestive but still somehow poetic. 10/10 would recommend. Runner-ups would be Gimme Shelter by the Stones, again for that classic rock feel, and Chain by the Fleetwood Mac. I love that mystic atmosphere. Worth noting I'm a Beatlemaniac, so I decided not to list their songs at all. Too many of them.

tehhiv

XD you'd have to list every song by The Beatles, because they have not made a bad song.

Dunlooop

I like Aha, but my favourite is ‘Don’t talk to me about love’ by Altered Images, it reminds me of the time when I was completely in love with Clare Grogan, and I still get chills when it’s played on the radio. The early 80’s were so good to be a teenager.

tehhiv

I wish I was a teen in the 80's. I was born in 88. But that was such an amazing time for music.

Tow78

John lennon- imagine

the_scarlett_ning

That is a great song! To the point that my kids, 4-14 all know it and song along. For me, my favorite song is, and has been since I was in middle school, Elton John’s “I Guess That’s Why They Call it The Blues”. I don’t know why exactly, but that song just always gets me in the feels, making me nostalgic for a time I didn’t even exist.

tehhiv

Yes! "Your song" is mine. It gets me. Feels so personal. The Ellie Goulding cover does it justice too.

tehhiv

That's fun. I'll show the kids.

polank34

It really is an awesome song. The video of them switching back and forth from animation to real life is pretty cool too.

tehhiv

I think that was a big contributing factor when I was a youngin.

tehhiv

Hey that was actually pretty cool. I've only ever heard what they play on the radio, I'll have to check out the rest.

qorndog

Bad Luck by Noah Kahan is a strong one for me- puts into words how I’ve felt for so long, makes me feel less alone. All of Noah’s songs have that power, he’s an incredible writer and artist, but Bad Luck specifically for me :)

tehhiv

Wow. That was actually really good. Thank you for that, his voice is amazing.

qorndog

I’m glad you liked it! He’s an incredible artist, I’m actually on the train right now headed to his concert tonight!

tehhiv

Dude. Lucky. I don't have any upcoming concerts until next year, but it's jam packed. Have to make up for 2020 lol. But we have our tickets to Beiber, Shawn Mendez, John Maher, and Dua Lipa, so I'm excited.

qorndog

Oh that’s so fun! I’m se excited to be getting back to concerts, this will be #2 this year, and then 2 already booked for next year, plus 3 more I’m hoping to get tickets for. I’ve missed live music so much. I hope you enjoy your shows! You’ve got some great artists in the lineup

tehhiv

Thanks, you too. I didn't realize how often we actually went to shows or concerts, until we couldn't lol.

Jolene1201

Sha La La La La by Heavy Young Heathens. Totally underrated and pretty unknown Song, it deserves way more attention!

tehhiv

That was super good. I don't know how I have not heard this before.

[deleted]

Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name

mimi1251

I don’t have an all time favourite I’m far too indecisive, but today I’d say rhinoceros by the smashing pumpkins and linger by the cranberries. Myxomatosis by Radiohead is also up there at the moment

tehhiv

I honestly haven't listen to enough of Smashing Pumpkins or Radiohead. I like all the hits I've heard, I'll delve a bit deeper though.

Big_Capital892

I cannot pick a definite all time favorite, but I can tell you my favorite right now, which is Aether Realm's The Sun, The Moon, The Star

tehhiv

I'll get back to you in 19 minutes XD

Big_Capital892

I love hearing peoples’ thoughts on the song, I’ll wait as long as it takes

tehhiv

Honestly, it wasn't bad. It isn't my cup of tea exactly, but I definitely don't hate it. I like guitars.

Big_Capital892

If ya like guitars, try their 11 minute instrumental, Craft and the Creator and report back to me.

Rachel794

You won’t care what my favorite song is.

tehhiv

I care Rach

Rachel794

Lights by Ellie Goulding I love the original but especially the remix by Bassnectar.

tehhiv

So to tell you the truth, when I first heard Lights ( or Bright Lights? I think was the extended EP?) I fell in love with Ellie. Her voice is amazing. I'm gonna check out the bassnectar version right now.

Rachel794

https://youtu.be/nGlIDlOqurA Enjoy :)

tehhiv

Thank you! It's good. It gets intense lol.

Rachel794

That’s why I love it! Lol
