I’m new to this. Is $8 USD a day and 40 MH/s decent for a single 1080ti GPU?

Should be getting 45MH/s, 50 of you can keep it stable (but good luck with that one.) Tis are fickle, some respond to higher core clocks, some lower. I personally use +135 core, +500 mem, power draw 75 to hit 45 MH/s (for some reason as soon as I hit 80 power it locks my system. Edit: Also try Phoenix algo ,(manual instal from GitHub) gives me slightly better results with boot parameter.

I set it to the Medium profile. I’m going to try High and see what happens.

unorthadoxparadox

Ah, didn't realise you was on quick miner. Each to their own but I find after burner better to use, tried QM and high just lock up rig up.

akishore

Like I said I’m new, so didn’t know about after burner. Is that off the NH site or somewhere else?

unorthadoxparadox

Nah, afterburner is a program you instal for any GPU application, just Google and. You'll get the site/download. Feel free to pm me if , you're having any trouble figuring it out.

akishore

Awesome, thanks for the help.

unorthadoxparadox

No worries, mate.

iworkisleep

Wanna squeeze another 5-7 mh out of it or you’re giving your gpu mercy?

akishore

I just replaced the AIO cooler and all the fans on the system. Haha going to work it for a few months

Profits are insane right now. Don't except it to stay this high. I was getting 6 buck a day or so from a 2080 ti before. Right now Im getting 19+

kuzkokronk

Profits are definitely insanely high right now. My 1080 Ti made $8.93 yesterday, which is about double what I normally get using Quickminer in "efficient" setting. Eventually, profits will drop down to the usual levels. Enjoy it while it lasts!

I was making that much in 2017 with the same GPU, crazy how we are here again in the same boat.
