Post Game Thread: Los Angeles Rams (5-1) at New York Giants (1-5)

You know the question "would you suck for 10 years if it means winning a super bowl?"
We're what happens when you answer 'Yes' while already sucking for the previous super bowl you answered Yes to. It compounds.
Still worth it, isn’t it?
Without a doubt, yea
Feel bad for my 14 year old brother though. Doesn’t even have the 2 SBs memories to soften this torment.
lmao a buddy of mine has a little brother who's 16 and their whole family are giants fans, i check up on little bro more than i do the actual friend. poor kid.
me as a niner fan born in 97 lol
98 here. Mustve been nice in the 80s or even 90s huh
I would gladly take that
Wait you guys were asked to suck? Well I’ll be…
You kept hitting it when the page froze.
I started watching in the Phil Simms era so I've seen a lot of success and a lot of down years, but this is the worst. I watched every snap of Dannel Kanell and Dave Brown and this is just too much.
I'm so grateful for the Manning Superbowl after 17 years of mostly shit that I'm prepared for another couple of decades.
You got 2, my guy.
Yea, that's what I said
"I wish Daniel Jones played more like Patrick Mahomes"
*finger on monkey paw curls*
It was rough couple of weeks for me on /r/nygiants but I now feel pretty vindicated in my unwavering belief that Danny Jones has not progressed and this is his last year as a starter.
I mean this is the first game you can pat yourself on the shoulder for lol. Line was trash and he wasn’t 100%
He sucked last week before getting hurt and he sucked week 1 despite some stat padding in garbage time. My view even from the weeks he had good numbers was he was put in a very good situation and was able to hit open receivers quickly. He still hasn't shown that he can sense pressure or make progressions or look off defenders. He just avoided all those situations for a few lucky weeks. He has done that many times in his first few years and it has never foretold consistent success.
Danny Dimes sucks again!
Toney, Thomas and Jones shouldn't have played today
What do you think it's gonna take for us to invest into a new qb
prob fire everybody and start clean
I got hit by a car four days ago and somehow watching this game was the most painful experience I’ve had this week
You deserve an ice cream cone.
I’ve never been more apathetic about this team than this season. Just like….whatever…
Welcome to the brotherhood of apathy
I just stopped even caring to watch. What's the point.
I am going to walk into the ocean and surrender to the cold Atlantic waters.
From sinking sands he stepped into lights embrace.
Joe Judge is a clown.
Cooper Kupp is good at the football
That TD where he squeezed around thy pylon was 😚👌
thank mr stafford
Thanks Mr. Stafford
Thank Based Staff Man?
Clean house, please.
I know this feel
As a neutral, no fucks given over anything else.
time to get excited for Kayvon Thibodeaux and then ruin another great players career!
You mean win a few meaningless games at the end of the season and miss out on him?
This is the way.
Had us in that first quarter, not gonna lie
Who else is s waiting for an explanation of that unsportsmanlike conduct penalty?
That was so strange. It was almost like the refs decided that the fake punt was just a bridge to far against a team like the Giants. Then zero replay of any sort of infraction.
Not to mention it was called against the teams and not players. Feels like the whole thing was fabricated
To negate the play it had to be done during the play too. Otherwise it's still first down for LA. Maybe simulating snap count?
Why the hell did he play Jones till the end?
because he's fucking stupid that's why
He needs to go
first of the season too! took long enough
In college and nfl this weekend.
Finally! First one of the year
I hate this word
God I miss you Matty. Maybe I should just give up and become a rams fan.
Edit: Heck with it, I'm in. I've suffered enough.
Come on home bb
Rams fans would welcome you with open arms
Our entry fee is one Stafford meme

Goodbye Lion bro, enjoy it
You’re a good fan and I decree an honorary rams fan too.
Welcome, brother. Horns up.
Horns up indeed. Time to watch Staffdaddy on a good team.
Maybe they shouldn’t have played the concussed guy
I know they get independent neurologists to check these guys and clear them, but I didn't think there was any chance he played this week after the hit he took last game.
Gotta save the careers of Judge and Gettleman. Injuries be damned
Jones, Thomas and Toney shouldn't have played
Anyone know of good bridges I should visit, let me know. Thanks in advance.
Gwb has a walkway that's fairly easy to get to.
Well my Sundays are free now.
Remember when we beat the Saints and thought this season wouldn't be a complete bust? Good times.
You coulda started Week 1.
We needed a good, ol fashioned beat down
You'll come back stronger. Youll get Raheem Morris as a HC next season. Sigh.
I accept this outcome.
Yep the annual bottom feeders picking off mcvay’s staff. Giants and lions probably maybe even the jags
Rename the East Coast the 'McVay Coast'
Everybody is going to get fired. Except you can't fire the owner. So we'll be right back here in 2 or 3 years doing this all over again.
Who'd have thought a few years ago that James Dolan could teach the giant's owners something about how to run a sports franchise?
I was concerned at the end of the first quarter. Less so by the half.
Holy shit, Joe Judge is actually a worst HC than McAdoo.
Mcadoo at least gave us 2016
I don't think you can blame coaching when almost every player loses their matchups. Rushers were going straight through our line, Jones was off target when he didn't throw straight into the defense or receivers falling down. Rams could rush at will, we couldn't tackle a scarecrow.
I think they relocated the browns to New York and didn’t tell anyone
We are the worst organization in football. And it comes down to Mara and Gettleman.
We have supreme talent all over our roster and they are always wasted.
Jones and Barkley would be having fantastic years on any other team, and I hate being a Giants fan when we are this incompetent.
Worst organization lol. Fuck out of here with all your Super Bowl rings.
At this very moment, we’re the worst. Have been since 2017
Lots of wins you’ve got over there.
I wish I could say my team won 2 Superbowls in the past 2 decades and has been total garbage since 2017.
We have good talent, wouldn't say Supreme, but it's wasted by the coaches
I don’t understand how both teams in that big of a market can let themselves suck for so long.
Supreme talent is a strong exaggeration
> We have supreme talent all over our roster
Eh? We had two pro bowlers last year and one was Evan Engram. Our O line sucks when it's healthy. Blake Martinez and Saquon are hurt.
Salute to any giants fans who made it past halftime. Y’all are stronger than me.
In the positive column, Rapp got 2 picks today.
Color me shocked.
judge should be investigated and sacked for injuring players and making a player play with a concussion
I know Judge can’t control the insane amount of injuries we’re dealing with but he mismanaged this game at every point
The injuries are bad. But theyre nothing compared to the real problems this team is facing.
Also shouldnt have played Jones, Toney and Thomas
Damn, I thought Judge was decent. Nah. Rams are scary af tho
That was cool. Enjoyed it very much.
I for one would like to thank DJ for gifting my boy Taylor Rapp 2 ints.
I will second this.
GET IN HERE EVERYBODY
The Giants continue to give their fans exactly what they want, SCORIGAMI BABY
is the daniel jones experiment finished
Jones is literally the last of their problems right now
It’s been one bad game playing with a practice squad offense
Still a lot of Daniel Jones Kool Aid drinkers around but he was horrible last week before the injury. He was horrible in week one. He had a decent to good three game stretch where we went 1-2. He isn't the answer.
Is he the only problem? No, of course not but he is a problem. It doesn't look like we have a solution in the near future though so we are probably stuck through his rookie contract. But we need to be ready to move on when the opportunity is there.
It's 3 bad games out of 6 this year. He's toast.
Daniel Jones will be a good quarterback in the CFL someday I think
