DERRICK HENRY IS A GODDAMN TRAIN

AndrewLucks_Asshair

Love Levy calling Josh Allen ‘Tannehill’

benjivi

love having the most ghetto team in the nfl as my team

Swirl0

The Steelers defense struggled mightily in that second half. Only way this team can win is if both sides carry their weight. Did it in the first half. Not the second but TJ saved em in OT

Doolzy412

STEELERNATION

Caesthoffe

people are being way too hard on Geno imo

Statalyzer

About the fumble? Probably. His overall play? Not sure, he didn't seem to have lots of presence and got himself sacked a few times when he had time to throw it away.

Benti86

It's the whiplash you expect from losing Russ and going down to someone who can't even hope to replicate him. Russ has always been healthy. A lot of Seahawks fans likely aren't used to having a QB who can't pull of seemingly mystical bullshit like Russ can.

DogfaceMax

Cheaters never prosper, Seaknots! God bless the injured Seattle player.

RagnarStonefist

Who's cheating....?

Lil-Tuna

Your QB is literally nicknamed Big Rape

Yoey04

As a Steelers fan, piss off

RyanOJ006

Hey, Fuck you

IncarnateFan

Tough game to watch as a Seahawks fan.

Archaic_Sack

Steelers fan coming in peace. Your squad played so well in the 2nd half. Excellent coaching, Geno was good but their run attack was brutal. Seahawks players on the sideline were very hype, so nothing but love and respect for your squad✌🏽

Dr_Isaly_von_Yinzer

Steelers fan here with mixed emotions. Watt is an elite edge rush end and he does amazing shit like this all the time. I think he is clearly the most dominant edge rusher in the NFL. However, we also need to rebuild this team and you can’t do that picking late in the first round every year. So, quite candidly, I would have been just fine with a Seahawks win tonight. We basically have needs everywhere. We obviously need a quarterback — badly. We also need another running back to take the load off Harris. That is a very underrated need on this football team. We also need a corner, a safety, a nose tackle, and at least three offensive linemen. You can’t address those needs by picking 23rd or 26th every flipping year.

Mr_MacGrubber

RB is the only position where draft position means nothing. In fact taking one in the top half of the first round is stupid except in a few cases.

welsh_cthulhu

You’re not a Steelers fan. Stop posting this shit.

alyosha_pls

Yes. Yes. Eat your own!

lance-

So you want to tank? You are the epitome of the word *loser.*

lFreightTrain

This game was a toss up from the start. Watt played his roll, but the leading edge rusher in the league is not TJ Watt lol. It’s week 5 and you’re talking draft picks and rebuilding a team… This entire take is definitely a homer. “We need everything we’re bad at to be good.” No shit. So does everyone else.

Doolzy412

Who's better than Watt?

deucedeuce187

That beast over in Cleveland just as good

balsamicpork

Just as good or better?

holygrail22

The Chargers and Giants let their icons know when it was time. Maybe it’s a personality difference or an FO that can’t let go, but the Steelers can’t seem to tell Ben the same thing and it’s killing them long term. The shelf life on Najee is only gonna be so long (Giants are learning that with Barkley the hard way after wasting his first year and a half with Eli) and the defense beyond Watt (who is now super expensive) is not what it was two years ago or even last year, as you acknowledge It’s not a fun spot to be in as a fan. Winning is cool but the price you’ll pay for going 8-9 this year and sneaking into the last WC just to lose the first game is immense and idk how the Steelers FO doesn’t see that

siberianxanadu

Barkley will be able to play longer than you think. He’s in his fourth year, but he’s only played 36 games - barely over two seasons. And in those 36 games, he’s only averaged 19.8 touches per game. Compare that to someone like Elliott. By the end of week 6 in his fourth year, he had played in 49 games and was averaging 24.7 touches per game. Put another way: at the same place in his career, Barkley has had a whopping 495 fewer touches than Elliott. I think some people are starting to write Saquon off, but I think he could have a late bloom like Derrick Henry did (although Henry’s excuse is that he wasn’t the starter until his 3rd season, but still).

[deleted]

homyjomy

Problem with Barkley is he’s NEVER healthy.

siberianxanadu

But it’s not like we can say that there’s some systemic reason as to why. He doesn’t seem to have recurring non-contact soft-tissue injuries. In fact, he’s really only had 3 weird injuries that have just happened back-to-back. He played in all 16 games his rookie season. He missed only 3 games his sophomore season after Mike Edwards held onto his foot as he was coming down from about 3 feet in the air. https://youtu.be/qKnpI4LuqjQ Then last year he tore his ACL when Kyle Fuller… held onto his leg and hyperextended it. https://youtu.be/c0r95aMp0S0 Can’t come back in 3 weeks from an ACL tear, but he was back week 1 of this season which is maybe a little too quick. Then this year Jourdan Lewis collides with him and steps on his ankle while he’s trying to slow down and twists his ankle. https://youtu.be/RKpEjqgE2QI None of these are his fault and they seem pretty random. Every once in a while if you roll a d20 you’re gonna get the same number 3 times in a row. I think Saquon is the type of guy that could go the rest of his career without ever missing another game. If anything is his fault, it’s that he plays too hard and doesn’t know when to give up, but show me an elite RB that just stops at first contact. They don’t exist.

Morph247

Seahawks fan and I share almost the exact same sentiments. Both our teams are nearing the end of our SB window (probably this season) and need a major rebuild. 3-3 would've flattered us and I think it flatters Pittsburgh. I don't even know where to begin with the needs on the football field but I definitely think Pete's time is up, thanks for the SB and post season appearances but we need new blood now. We've just wasted Russ HOF career at Seattle. Either we get rid of Pete or Russ is going to another team. >You can’t address those needs by picking 23rd or 26th every flipping year. I would say the same except we don't even have that for next season but at this point I would happily trade Russ for 2 firsts and get Newton in for the time being or something. Idk. This team needs big changes.

Fartupmybutthole

You realize it’s not easy to find a QB of Russ’s caliber right? It’s not as simple as just drafting another borderline HoF QB lol. Look at the Jets, Bears, etc. If we trade Russ it could be upwards of a decade if not more with shit to mediocre QBs and only winning 4 games a season. Man you guys take Russ for granted.

Morph247

Oh I absolutely agree it would be difficult. I'm just at the point where it's pretty obvious there's a scheme mismatch between a SB winning HC and a HOF-destined QB and we have to move on from one of them. I'm just glad I don't have to make the decision. I hope the club picks Russ personally but we will get more for trading him and zero from moving on from Pete.

Fartupmybutthole

We have gone to the playoffs 8 of the last 10 years and went to 2 Super Bowls, won one and was a yard away from winning a second. We have the second highest winning percentage in the past decade next to the Pats. I think we’ve done pretty well with Russ and Pete. Yes we got knocked out early the past few years but a vast majority of teams in the league would give their left nut for that kind of success. Seahawks fans have got so used to winning that you have lost all perspective.

Morph247

>Seahawks fans have got so used to winning that you have lost all perspective. You know we're sitting a comfortable 3-4th in the NFC West not even half way into this season right lmao. Also statistically one of the worst NFL defenses in the ENTIRE NFL and an average offensive output even before Russ got injured, Russ getting injured could've actually been prevented or minimised if he was protected. It's concerning how much the team has regressed in such a short space amount of time considering we've got the highest paid safety, one of the highest paid QBs and Metcalf is due a new contract very soon. More importantly Russ has clearly shown his disgruntlment over the last few seasons and again this offseason almost requesting a trade. So it's not just the fans who are unhappy it's literally the most important player in the entire squad who eats up a lot of the salary cap. So if we have to pick between our HOF-destined QB or Pete Carroll I know who I'm picking.

Fartupmybutthole

I don’t know how to do that fancy quote thing. You actually just proved my point though. I pointed out that in the past decade we’ve been one of the most successful teams in the NFL. We have one down year and you said “ I’d happily trade Russ for 2 firsts” lol. Do you know how absurd that sounds?! Now you move the goalposts in your last comment and say “If we have to choose between Carroll or our HoF QB, I know who I’m choosing” to which I say no shit lol. It’s just not that simple lol. Neither is hiring a borderline HoF coach, Neither is drafting a HoF QB. We are sitting in last place, after 5 games, for the first time in a decade, after being the second winningest team of said decade and you literally had the nerve to type “I’d GLADLY trade Russ for 2 firsts” hahah. Imagine a Chiefs fan (who are also struggling) saying they would gladly trade Mahomes for 2 firsts. Also, we can have this conversation when he “almost requests a trade” (whatever that means) next year as well, but at that point firing Carrol won’t help either. It’s not like Shanahans grow on trees either. People like Adam Gase do though. I know you’re bummed about this season, hell so am I, but I ask you again; take a step back, a deep breath, and and have some perspective. If anything we need a new DC. Two first round picks and losing your star QB won’t fix that.

Morph247

>I don’t know how to do that fancy quote thing You do > and paste any comment directly next to it and it changes it once you post. You can also quote by copying and pasting from a comment you're responding to both on PC and on mobile app.

Fartupmybutthole

Ahh thank you for the tip. I appreciate it!

Morph247

>I’d GLADLY trade Russ for 2 firsts You missed the point of "at this point" Also Cheifs were literally in the Superbowl last season. Seattle has been 1 and done for several seasons now. Incredibly poor comparison. And Cheifs have declined massively this season and it's showing. Kelce, Mahomes and Hill can't carry their average defence to wins anymore. >know you’re bummed about this season, hell so am I, but I ask you again; take a step back, a deep breath, and and have some perspective. This isn't even a knee jerk feeling. From the last 2 seasons I felt we were in serious SB-contending form. The fact our defence and run game is meant to be the bulk of the game and is non-existent atm is another example of how we've regressed significantly. >If anything we need a new DC You can only see half the problem it seems. Again if Wilson is disgruntled and chews up a lot of the cap that should indicate there's bigger problems than just loses, forms and injuries. And he's been disgruntled for a few years now and I imagine he's still the most sacked quarterback this season... That's not on the DC.

Fartupmybutthole

Ok, couple questions here. Where do you see he’s been disgruntled for a few years now? This year’s little comments were the first time I heard anything other than the media reaching and looking for stories during a boring offseason. Second, so let’s say hypothetically we trade Russ for 2 firsts. Then what? Let’s say we (generously) have a 1/100 chance of drafting a top tier QB and that doesn’t happen. Then what? We just go back to winning 4 games a season like the Tavaris Jackson days (rip)? We just hang around in the dumpster of the NFL for what? 5 years? 10 years? More? How is that more fun than making the playoffs every year. If we don’t win the Super Bowl you would rather be a bottom 5 team? I just don’t see the logic. You don’t trade a HoF QB for 2 draft picks. Were you around for all the shit years (no judgement if not all fans are valid). It’s not fun. All I’m saying is be careful what you wish for. As for the sacks, we have invested in the line. Trades, draft picks, free agency. Russ is hard to block for and one of his (few) knocks is he hold on to the ball too long and is hard to block for because of how much he moves and he’s a bit short so he’s not the best at stepping up in the pocket and throwing over d- lineman. Finding an all star tackle and guard is next in line to finding an all star QB.

Morph247

>Where do you see he’s been disgruntled for a few years now? This year’s little comments were the first time I heard anything other than the media reaching and looking for stories during a boring offseason. I'm a firm believer of action speaks louder than words so if you're a believer of that too here's some evidence. He's actively asked for offensive weapons over the last few seasons, training with non-Seattle players such as Josh Gordon and AB in multiple off-seasons. We got Gordon once but we didn't go for him again when weed is legal and now he's at KC with Mahomes and our WR3 the other night is Phillip Dorsett again. AB also won a superbowl in his first season back in the NFL. He made it very clear he wasn't happy with how many sacks he got last season and I distinctly remember him saying 400 sacks. After this his RW3 team came out and essentially said "hey I don't want to be traded but if I have to here are the teams I would like to be traded to" you don't list your teams you'd like to be happy to be traded to if you're happy. Imagine you're married to someone and you tell them "hey I'm happy to be in a relationship with you but if you want to break up here are a list of people I'd like to be with" 99% of people won't be happy with that. I agree it's risky and it's a huge Play. But idk how closely you follow Seattle because you seem to forget we don't have any first round picks for next season because we traded for Jamal Adams. The only reason why they'd trade Wilson is if they were left with no choice. They'd be forced to rebuild. It'll be similar to the Watson situation where I'm sure Houston wouldn't want to get rid of Watson either. Unfortunately, he eats up a lot of the cap and we can't get star players in other positions. This isn't a Seattle-specific problem as although Seattle are the only team keeping 13m in cap space in a supposed SB-window. Name a trade or free agent pick up that's actually impressed you this season? And by impressed I mean play consistently over the course of the season so far. The fact we traded for Witherspoon only to trade him away in the same offseason says a lot about the HC/GM relationship and decision making that tells me that either A) they're not on the same page or B) they don't trust each other in their decision making. That 1 trade alone should tell you there's bigger problems than just offense and defence. And what did we do to fix the problem? Start Tre Flowers who was so bad he's already out of the team lmfao. As for the O-line, I like Damien Lewis but he's one player on the line, Duane Brown is understandably starting to regress at 36 and Gabe Jackson... Exists I guess? Yet to see anything overly impressive from him. Also you don't want to trade away Wilson but acknowledge he's got his own flaws hmmmm.... how can be be an all star QB but we should be happy with wasting his talent? Again my problem with Seattle isn't on field, it's the fact there's so many holes literally everywhere in the org that at some point the problem has to be bigger than just singleing out talent. We know this squad is talented and it's underperforming as a whole. Fyi after the game vs the Rams Pete Carroll said something along the lines of "the players didn't execute what we practiced in training" but we know the players aren't shit. So the issue has to be scheme, lack of adaptability or motivation.... Probably all 3. Edit: also want to add our relationship with Wilson is the same with Rodgers and Green Bay. They seem really happy right now only because Green bay are winning games still, but if things collapse again for them and they don't win a SB I can see Rodgers asking for a trade again. Keep in mind Rodgers has been asking for offensive talent for years as well and they drafted a QB to replace him instead lmao. The insulting move smh.

siberianxanadu

Wait wait wait are you saying Russell Wilson is at the end of his Super Bowl window? He’s 32.

Morph247

No not him specifically but it feels like this team as it is with Russ is. If Russ goes to a good team in a good scheme I wouldn't be surprised if he wins one. But definitely right now with Wagner, Lockett, Metcalf, Wagner, Adams and Diggs if we don't get more key players on both sides of the ball ASAP it really feels like it's over at least for Seattle with Pete and Russ.

Pseudorealizm

Norton needs to go because we have no leadership on the defense who can hold people accountable like we did when Kam Chancellor was with the team. We also desperately need pass rush. Offense has all the talent you could need as far as weapons are concerned. Lack of consistency on o-line and play calling are the major concerns. However, I still have faith Waldron can figure it out and get us there.

Morph247

There's deeper issues than just offense and defence. The players don't look motivated and confused. Both Adams and Wagner look a shell of themselves from even last season. Wilson, Metcalf and Lockett look frustrated. It's a deeper issue that starts with Pete Carroll, maybe even higher than him. Because of this I'm also gonna give Waldron a pass because this season seems like such a mess.

siberianxanadu

Higher than Pete Carroll? What am I supposed to say, Jesus?

Morph247

Lol is there really no staff in higher positions than the HC in NFL? The owners exist...

siberianxanadu

Not in Seattle. Also I was mostly just trying to be funny.

Morph247

Oh sorry thought you were trying to actually contribute to the conversation lol.

Pseudorealizm

Jody isn't going to tell Pete how to do his job. Let alone fire the guy. He's also Schneiders boss. Pete has more power as a HC than any other coach in the NFL. More so than even Bellichick because at least Kraft gives a shit about his franchise.

Morph247

Very true. It's why Pete's control of the team scares me.

Lyradep

Great game. That’s all I can say.

Fre3Brit3y

Nah. That last hero move by Geno really fucking ruined. That’s the most disappointing loss in recent memory.

Lil-Tuna

You really shouldn’t expect to win a game starting a backup, so if that’s the most disappointing loss in recent memory than Seahawks fans must have it really nice

Fre3Brit3y

I expect to win every game. We haven’t had a to the nail loss like that in prime time in a few years. That used to be a weekly occurrence, lately the first half of this game is a more accurate representation of the Seahawks fan experience.

Lil-Tuna

If the Seahawks fan experience is not having a losing record since 2011 then sign me up!

apietryga13

Lmfao right, we watched our teams get the piss beat out of them and he’s upset over this game.

Lyradep

I wouldn’t call that a hero move. The o-line was obviously breaking down, with tight man coverage on the receivers, and Geno scrambled at the right time. But TJ Watt, who I’d say is among the Steeler’s top 3 players, made a great play on a backup QB. If that’s what it took at the end of the game in OT to take down my Seahawks, then that’s not a bad way to go down.

FinalMeltdown15

Leagues top 3 players* tbh

deucedeuce187

Maybe on the defensive side of the ball. Although I still think the rams got the two best defensive players in football. And myles Garrett just as good as watt

BusterWright

Thank you. I didn’t want to say it. Thank you for all your help.

JerryGoDeep

Geno is definitely pretty good for a backup I’m confused why people are shitting on him

PeaceBull

It’s the nature of overtime If you cause the win, automatic hero of the week status regardless of what you did all game. If you caused the loss, automatic blame magnet regardless of what you did all game.

dlatz21

Agreed, but geno didn’t cause the loss there. TJ did TJ things. There’s 50 other players in the league that just get a sack there, no strip. Hard to blame that solely on geno

deucedeuce187

He really is the strip sack king tho

PeaceBull

It could’ve been Troy at his peak, if a QB gets stripped they’re going to get the blame (triply so in overtime). The same way they get also the praise if they win, even if it’s the line that did the real work at the time.

dlatz21

Like I said, i agree with you. I also just happen to think that’s a silly take. No one in seattle that matters is gonna watch the film and blame that one geno.

BrianDawkins

What do they even show after the game on the west coast?

foxpawz

ChazzGypsySexLord

We need Cam Newton. It’s the only way to save the season

Dill_Bo_Baggins

Trubinsky

ChazzGypsySexLord

Lol

Chubbybrownbear

No you don’t. Cam wouldn’t be much better

ChazzGypsySexLord

Apparently you weren’t paying attention, when we played the patriots last year. Or any of the guys career.

ultraviolentfuture

Apparently you weren't paying attention to any other games Cam Newton played last year

ChazzGypsySexLord

I was. He was way better than Geno Smith.

0neLeviathan

Right, the guy who threw less than 10 touchdowns. And don’t give me the rushing TD bullshit, a quarterback that can only score through running has an incomplete skill set. At least Geno Smith has the guts and skill to actually throw touchdowns unlike Cam, who can only run the ball rather than pass it, which is his fucking job. Seahawks need a quarterback, not a fucking running back. And if Cam has to be a running back, why can’t he at least be a competent badass like Lamar Jackson?

ultraviolentfuture

He threw like 10% of his passes directly into the ground, not on purpose. He was much worse than Geno has been through 2 weeks.

thriftybark

I agree with the steelers fan

GiveMeSomeIhedigbo

Geno plays OK, keeps his team in the game, and then commits a back-breaking turnover at the worst possible time. I should have expected exactly that, right?

GLYDER54

Steelers still suck ass. Seahawks took them into overtime with Geno Smith.

midgetrage7

Get bent

Paranoidexboyfriend

One post and it’s in the browns sub. Y’all just salty you paper champs are tied with us and got your shit kicked in two weeks in a row

cossack190

Browns fans are paper champs for the second time in 3 years

Paranoidexboyfriend

The browns have never won the AFC North. ever. And they’re not about to start now. People ask every season, “Who do you think will win the AFC North?! Browns are spooooky” And I say “probably the Steelers or Ravens .” And I’ve been right pretty much every year.

cossack190

It's so satisfying to see them fall back to earth. Browns fans talked so much shit this offseason, and all over a team that has not accomplished very much at all. They're 0-3 against real teams this year.

Sybertron

Hmm seems we have the same record as the Browns too...strange

dcfb2360

not a bad point honestly

crankthatjose

Oh wah

nonstopflux

Cocktober. That’s what they’re going with.

dcfb2360

Geno shouldn't get blamed for this. His OL was trash all night, gave him zero time or protection, and that loss was cuz TJ watt made a TJ Watt play. Yea geno's not amazing, but you gotta cut him some slack

cleanRubik

Welcome to our pain. - 2018 49ers, 2020 49ers

halocoolguy

He played as well as you ought to expect from a backup that’s not Minshew. Definitely highlighted Wilson’s strengths (deep ball, scrambling, clutch time except in Super Bowls). He must feel bad for shanking these last two games in the last minute though. Last week was an int, this week fumble, maybe next week they’ll block his field goal attempt.

holygrail22

In terms of ability to step in and play, Geno has gotta be one of the better backups in the league. Can’t imagine there’s more like a handful of backups who have anywhere close to as much game experience as he does. He showed it tonight

dlatz21

This is so obviously the correct take it’s not really worth discussing further.

Fre3Brit3y

Nah, man. That loss was on Geno. That run that turned into a fumble that lost the game was pure Geno showing his bare, shit smeared ass. I can’t really overlook that to gift him a more than negative review.

ultraviolentfuture

Remind me what your review is worth again?

thecountoncleats

I thought Smith played reasonably well. 23/32 for 165 yards passing. No picks. Seattle wasn’t great on third down.

Statalyzer

Granted 23 completions for 165 yards means you're mostly only completing the safe easy ones.

iwolf6645

For sure. Geno played decently for a backup. Not a ton of mistakes and made a few great throws.

Untthrowawayy33

I’d say he’s starting to regain some confidence after that horrible start to his career with the Jets, not a lot but I’m glad to see he’s improving

sdf_cardinal

Not today script writers….

Troutmaggedon

Colts vs. Niners? Flex that shit.

nikefreak23

Fuck you lol. I was rooting for you guys tonight too!!

Swarthykins

Hey, I wanted them to flex us tonight.

Troutmaggedon

Nothing against you guys. You have a great team when healthy. But you have lots of injuries and the colts are pretty boring.

ultraviolentfuture

Colts Ravens was just a good game where the Colts got way out in front of a good team. It wasn't boring. Wentz is starting to not play like shit and sling it again.

nikefreak23

True. We held the only 6-0 squad to 17 points and almost won with a rookie QB in his first start on the road so I think we can show the league a bit more next week.

OceanFlan

spoken like someone who didn’t just watch that sunday night game

Troutmaggedon

I know but don’t they start flexing games after the first part of the season?

OceanFlan

seems like they can flex starting at week 5, but they can only do it for 2 weeks from week 5-10?

jlt6666

They didn't flex this game so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Heisenripbauer

I don't know what voodoo the NFL has going on, but the primetime games this season have just delivered at a rate we haven't seen before. The only bad game was Panthers/Texans

Champ-Aggravating3

I really think part of it is about having fans back in the stadiums, all the teams wanting to put on a show for the fans under the lights

Balives

It has very much seemed that way. Straight fire of a game each week. It's impressive and I hope it continues. And all three games broadcasted here today went into overtime, my team lost but it was still glorious.

Troutmaggedon

Ughhhh

KinkaJac97

Bro, he put two huge force forearms on the dude's chest after the whistle. There is no excuse to even be going after the football at that point. He honestly should have been ejected. I'm thrilled he wasn't, but be such a homer you excuse bad behavior.

brewmas7er

Bull-fucking-shit he was. He punched like 7 times. That's a very slippery slope if they allow stuff like that.

TwelfthSovereign

I'm so confused about this Geno is good narrative in here... he attempted what, as many passes beyond the line of scrimmage as he had swatted? Not all the bad Jets QBs of the past decade are actually secretly decent/good QBs failed by the system

Chubbybrownbear

He wasn’t horrible but he definitely effed up at least twice in very critical moments.

freakyfastharvick

It’s not a narrative just cause 8 idiots on Reddit said it

Ok-Reporter-4600

I can't believe I won the bet. Under 43.5, Seahawks cover (4.5 spread), Steelers win. I wish Seahawks had won, but I'm amazed it actually went as miserably as I expected.

Possible missing Lodeiro, possible missing Ruidiaz, Morris might not make it back and all of their replacements are wildly inconsistent they might need it man

Lazulott

The only thing I can agree with

OceanFlan

the mariners’ spirit of chaos has breached containment

Balives

We have to go into the Upside-Down to kill it now.

Litlirein

For what?

TheOnlyWayOutIsThru

Imagine not losing in OT to an NFC team. Oh, wait...

Insanity96

What? That’s not an ejection, and nobody was asking for it to be one lmaoooo

Stealthnt13

TJ Watt lying on TV talking about winning after the bye.

dcfb2360

Taylor's not paralyzed, thank god

suppaman19

What was weird was I'm assuming it was him moving his arms and legs when he was laying on the field shortly after he was being initially attended to. To my knowledge it wouldn't make sense if he had a spinal injury for the athletic trainers to have been moving his extremities at all. So I thought it was odd he didn't give a thumbs up or something when he was being driven off. Glad to hear it confirmed he has all movement though.

SVP Bad beats next week here we come

_YNZR_

Hot take: Sports betting is kinda dumb. Sports are unpredictable and the house always wins. Foolish way to try to make money.

Independent-Usual434

I use gambling as insurance. Last night at halftime I put a $5 bet on the Seahawks to win. Would’ve paid $60 if they won. Since the Steelers won, I got nothing but the satisfaction that my team won the game. I’m fine with giving a casino money in order to protect my mental health😂

Heisenripbauer

I agree, but I got a text from a friend today who hit on $1000+ over 3 parlays for a total of $65 waged and I have to admit it doesn't seem so stupid after all

king__kizzle

Gambling being dumb is never a hot take

ChesterCopperpotHou

That damn seahawk dummy getting blasted in the face instead of an INT. Fuck!

GiantSizeManThing

TJ Watt: 6 solo tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 assault charge.

Stealthnt13

Too bad he wasn’t ejected, dude single handedly fuck me in fantasy.

weareallscum

Life Alert should use Big Ben in their next commercial.

jlt6666

Post game interview with a defensive player? Is such a thing possible?

Xmalantix

The whole city of Seattle is ODing on copium tonight lmao gg losers

Xmalantix

Seriously. You can't go in any game thread on a Sunday without constantly being badgered

sdf_cardinal

Every fan base has trashy fans. You are a part of that for the Steelers. Do better.

RunRunRaptor

Ever heard of winning graciously? It's a great alternative to being a sore winner.

Xmalantix

Nah, I lived in Washington for a few years and Seahawks fans are the most annoying and the biggest crybabies I ever went around. People wanted to fight me over the result of a super bowl that happened when I was 9. I'll go ahead and relish the win

sdf_cardinal

That definitely happened.

Xmalantix

You caught me dawg I made up a story so I could get approval from people I don't know or care about on the internet. If you don't like my reaction leave your downvote and move on, it really doesn't matter to me what your opinions are.

Business-Bake-4681

Bottom of the division

OceanFlan

1. you just went into overtime against geno smith 2. you are 3-3

Xmalantix

1. Still won 2. Colts are 2-4 so what are you even talking about?

DillyMan01

He's not being an ass after random men you don't know beat geno Smith in OT

dudealude

Lol Steelers fans being Steelers fans. Absolute trash 😂😂😂 You have nothing to be excited about for your team…

pnw54pdx

Took OT to beat Geno Smith 💀

PotRoastPotato

You literally lost to the corpse of Ben Roethlisberger 💀

pnw54pdx

Geno Smith and Ben Roethlisberger are totally comparable players for sure

PotRoastPotato

Career-wise of course not. 2021 Corpse of Ben vs. 2021 Geno, yes. 2nd lowest YPA in the NFL over the last three seasons.

jermsplan

You're right your team is garbage, Steelers should be ashamed for not beating you like the trash you are

A_Smitty56

You say that like it's more embarrassing than going to OT with the Steelers.

Xmalantix

Cope 🤣

pnw54pdx

Cope

GiveMeSomeIhedigbo

The Challenge has come on after SNF for years and I'm still not sure what it is.
